Question - What do emus require to survive?

Answer - To survive they should have daily access to fresh water and food. When food is abundant, they store large amounts of fat, and is able to use this while looking for more food.

Question - Are emus dangerous to raise?

Answer - Emus can run at nearly 50 km (30 miles) per hour; if cornered, they can kick with their big three-toed feet. Like cassowaries and ostriches, the toe claws of emus are capable of eviscerating animals under the right conditions; however, them killing humans is extremely rare.

Question - How long do emus live around for?

Answer - They can live for about 5 to 10 years. Newly hatched emus can weigh just over 500 g, they are cream-coloured with dark brown stripes. The colouration helps to camouflage them from dangerious predators.
