Un pigeon a la mauvaise idée de passer devant un canon… Adieu

Firefighters poured water into a well during a rescue attempt of a buffalo that had become trapped there.

Video of the rescue, captured in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwestern Yunnan Province on November 1, shows firemen and villagers unsuccesfully trying to use ropes to pull the buffalo out.

The rescuers then can be seen filling the well with water to help the buffalo swim up.

Eventually both firefighters and villagers drag the buffalo out of the well together.

The buffalo apparently had fallen into the uncovered well accidentally on its route home, and its owner called for help from firefighters, according to reports.

It was rescued successfully but suffered fractures to its right hind leg.
