Glen Corbin says:

I'm so sick of corporations running our lives and society having absolutely no effective and equal recourse when trying to regain our power. These politicians have absolutely no backbone. We need people with integrity and care for others to start getting involved in politics and actually take a stand against big business. I'm wondering if this balance of power will ever change, it's so frustrating and depressing.

Imas Sakin says:

mek86.2 says:

Seriously people are sheep. John Oliver has a lot of sheep following him it seems. First off, if you don't like how the chicken farmers are being treated. Stop eating chicken! I know you can't because you aren't that concerned are you.Second, in business you need to know when you should cut your loses, learn from your mistakes and move on. The chicken farmers need to do that then, if they are being treated so badly and not making any more. Take the bankruptcy and move on. Cold? Yes, but such is life. You signed up for a bad deal without looking into it and its your fault.

chapachuu says:

Screw the animal agriculture industry in its ear. We can do better without it.

I know there's basically a 0% chance that this comment will get read, but as much as I love this show I find it hard for the subjects to stick with me throughout the days when John ends the episode on a sort of dumbed down ending, to appeal to the people who couldn't pay attention to the important issues…. I'm not criticizing the shoe in the slightest, I love it and am thankful for all it teaches. I just wish it tried a little harder to make the subjects and problems stick with people throughout the day, so that it might have the chance of actually making a difference……. Anyway, that's my opinion, maybe like this comment so we could see if other people feel the same I don't know…

Corey Mondello says:

Red states love to treat their uneducated republican supported like morons, cause they always vote against their best interest.

Ralph Bernhard says:

He's right. The guitar does make it more believable. I completely agree with him.

StYxXx says:

To be fair a lot of those upgrades they're forced to do are reasonable and for the benefits of the chicken. Some of them are even required by new laws. And it's not just in the US, in Europe as well. Protesting against it sounds pretty selfish like "buh, I don't want more space for my chicken because that's expensive". And the ones the woman mentioned were such upgrades. Of course as a farmer they probably don't care about the animals, they just want to maximize their profit. Like the companies too.

Demolition Man says:

Proud vegetarian!

Kozure says:

Why not just breed their own chicken? They have all the necessary equipment to do it.
I'm not for america, maybe there are some regulations that don't allow them to do it.
